Local law enforcement is seeking information regarding break-ins to three restaurants located in the south end of Emporia between Oct. 25 and 28.
In the burglaries, windows were shot and broken, two Casio cash registers were taken, a laptop computer and several bottles or cases of liquor including Corona beer, Modelo Especial beer and bottles of gin, vodka and whiskey.

It would help if they said what businesses are involved. That way if someone saw something suspicious around one of them, they'd know to call it in.

Right, madpoet, it would be helpful information. I read the paper and listen to local radio daily, it seems odd that this is the first I've heard of this...am I alone?

I agree completely, be nice if the gazette and or law enforcement was a tad bit less secretive.But recently, the gazette has regularly posted 2-3 lines of a news flash and then a "refer to the print edition" tactics.
