Community Connections is wrapping up the fall term. Check out the last couple of classes available before we launch into our winter offerings.
Did you know that heating and cooling account for about 56 percent of energy use in a typical American home? It is the largest energy expense for most homes, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. Many households could save 20 to 30 percent on their household energy bills by implementing these simple energy efficiency improvements. Learn how to prep your house for the winter weather.
The class costs only $29 so you could then save more than that by implementing just one thing that you learn! Join us at the Flint Hills Technical College and try something new.
Upcoming classes include:
• MS Excel 2007 Advanced, Nov. 16 and 18, 6-9 p.m.
• Winterization for Energy Efficiency, Nov. 11 and 12, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Don’t see the class you need? Just give us a call, and we’d be happy to design a course that will help you accomplish your goals. Call Rachael at 341-1372 to get started.
