Not Olpe.
Olpe coach Chris Schmidt thought his team underperformed, particularly the offensive line, in the first half Tuesday night, and the Eagles didn’t emerge from the locker room at halftime until a minute before the start of the third quarter.
The Eagles got the message and went back to their usual dominating selves the second half, dominating the line and beating Chase County 42-6 in the opening round of the State playoffs.
“We came out a little slow, a little hesitant, and he kind of ripped us in the first half,” senior Bradley Argabright said. “We kind of went over the offense and we came out and did what we needed to do.”
