The annual Rosean Thanksgiving dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the schoolhouse. Turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, bread and beverages will be provided. Those attending are to bring table service and a side dish or dessert.

Brevity is somewhat of a desired trait in my book, however......
The "what" is weak for those of us who have no idea what the Rosean dinner is all about.
The "where" is weak, since there are several school houses in the area much less the city of Emporia?
The "when" is somewhat shakey as well since we are forced to assume that this coming Thursday is the correct day of the month.
Sure hope the table service, and side dish/dessert are all I need to bring. Forgive my ignorance, but I would hate to get there to find I need a wad of cash, or a ticket to get in and me without a checkbook.
