Children of all ages are invited to the “It’s Instrumental” program at 3 p.m. June 2 at the Emporia Public Library to hear a dramatization of the children’s book, “Zin Zin a Violin,” performed by ESU music students and try out a variety of musical instruments at an “instrument petting zoo” provided by Flint Hills Music, stated the news release.
Friday Afternoon Movies for children and families will be shown at 3 p.m. Fridays, beginning June 5, at the Emporia Public Library. Movies are free and all ages are welcome to attend. The final movie of the summer will be shown July 24. Participants are invited to bring snacks and beverages (no glass containers). Popcorn will be provided.
