Students in the industrial engineering technology program at Flint Hills Technical College will have a new scholarship available to them this coming academic year. Stanion Wholesale Electric Co. established a tool scholarship designated for electrical tools that students are required to have for the program. Besides a minimum GPA requirement, the award is a need-based scholarship for first year post-secondary students. Long-lasting quality tools are important for the students to have as they enter their educational career.
Stanion Wholesale Electric Co. was founded in June of 1961 in Pratt, KS. Since that time the company has continued to grow with several locations in Kansas and one in Missouri. “Stanion is a leader in providing industrial supplies. We are excited about this opportunity to work with them,” said David Budke, industrial engineering technology instructor.
