RCIL Friends, a group of individuals who experience disability, will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Emporia Public Library, 110 E. Sixth Ave. Resource material for the disabled and non-disabled persons concerning employment is among topics. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will perform a benefit concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. One hundred percent of ticket proceeds from the concert will benefit New Beginnings. The cost for a reserved seat is $20 and $10 for general admission.
