Booth reservations are now being taken for the Great American Market, Emporia’s super-size downtown public sale. The market, sponsored by Emporia Main Street and The Gazette, will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12. Sale booths will line Commercial Street from Third Avenue to 12th Avenue.
Items of all descriptions will be for sale, and there will be food and music.
The sale will be held regardless of the weather.
The fee for a 12-foot by 15-foot booth space is $25. Multiple booth spaces are available, according to a Main Street news release. Power availablility is limited. Main Street must be told about any electricity requirements in advance. There is a $10 charge for electricity.

Booths must be set up and ready to go by 6:30 a.m. Sept. 12.
