WARRENSBURG, MO. — Emporia State beat Angelo State 5-3 in the South Central Regional semifinal and will play Central Missouri on Monday for the regional championship.
Mike Sharp pushed across the go-ahead run in the seventh inning and went 2-for-2 for the Hornets.
Kellen Lane had two hits and drove in two runs for the Hornets, and Jacob White drove in Emporia State’s other run.
Dominic King (4-0) threw three scoreless innings to pick up the win for Emporia State. Ryan Anthony started and gave up three runs in five innings.
Emporia State and Central Missouri will play at noon on Monday.
