THE LYON COUNTY Historical Society offers our most sincere appreciation for all those who helped us move some of our collection to more suitable storage.
Kevin Nelson of Redline Trucking provided one of his trucks and trailers along with his driver, Joe. Shane Shively, Carmen Leeds, Coach Ken Gordon provided Andrew Buss, Nicholas Watson, Markus Mintken, Broderick Turner, Chavez Belton and Brian Murphy. Without these outstanding ESU student athletes, we could not have accomplished this move.
We are completely out of space at our facilities. This relocation of items not only provides better storage condititions for some of our artifacts, but also opens up a great deal of space, space we can now use to receive new artifacts and archive material to add to our collections.
The preservation of history is a significant pursuit and one in which we must rely upon the generosity of others. We are grateful to all of these fine people for their efforts on our behalf.
