EHS seniors tally $350,000 worth

Emporia High School seniors have received approximately $350,000 in scholarships so far this spring, according to Teresa Maley, EHS Guidance Office head. Scholarship recipients were recognized at the Academic Awards Assembly last week at the high school.
Honorees included three Kansas Governor’s Scholars, who are among the top 1 percent of graduating seniors in Kansas. Joel Bland, Joel Christiansen and Corinne Edds represented EHS at the awards luncheon on May 3 in Topeka.
These scholarship recipients also were recognized at the awards assembly:
