Ordering Angel Food will become easier this month, when patrons will be able to place online orders using credit or debit cards.
According to Andrea Ceretti, who helped initiate the ministry here through the First Church of the Nazarene, consumers need only to go to www.angelfoodministries.com, type in “66801” under “Locate a Host Site.” That will bring up a map of Emporia, with the three participating churches.
“They then choose a church most convenient for them to order from, and go to that church,” Ceretti said. “Once there, the instructions are self-explanatory and easy.”
A receipt can be printed off that must be taken to the church to pick up the food box or boxes.
Ceretti said that the Nazarene church is making arrangements for people who have credit or debit cards but no Internet access, to allow them to place orders online on regular ordering days at the church.
“We are hoping this will be more convenient for folks who don’t seem to have cash, or just want to order at home, and simply pick up on pick-up day,” she said.

We've been doing this and it's a pretty good deal. The food is from the south so most of the instructions are for deep frying. :( I have adapted them to baking. I get mine from the Presbyterian church and it's easy pickup since you just drive up to Spic & Span and they load it in your trunk for you.
