ESU baseball team makes Regional tournament

The Emporia State baseball team is back in the NCAA tournament.
The Hornets are the fourth seed at the South Central Regional and open against No. 3 Angelo State on Thursday in Warrensburg, Mo. The tournament will be played Thursday through Saturday at host site Central Missouri. Game times will be announced on Monday.
The Hornets are 42-12 and won the MIAA championship. The Hornets lost both their games at the MIAA tournament this weekend and enter the regional play losers of six of their last 10.
Central Missouri is the top seed and MIAA tournament champion Nebraska-Omaha is the fifth seed. Abilene Christian got the second seed and Texas Permian Basin is the sixth and final seed.
