BREAKFAST
Monday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: sausage biscuit with jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: corndog, tater tots, broccoli, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: grilled cheese sandwich, tossed salad, tropical fruit, Rice Krispy treat.
Wednesday: beef taco or chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: turkey fritter, dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pear half.
Friday: chicken parmesan, tri tater, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles.
Juice and milk are served with breakfast; milk is served with lunch.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: turkey slice, baked sweet potato, green beans, wheat roll, heavenly hash salad, crispy rice bar.
Tuesday: chicken enchilada, Spanish rice, Scandanavian-blend vegetables, wheat bread, fresh fruit.
Wednesday: smothered steak or liver and onions, boiled potatoes, carrots, wheat bread, strawberries with topping.
Thursday: ham, potato salad, cucumber-tomato salad, wheat bread, pears.
Friday: salisbury steak, party potatoes, coleslaw, wheat roll, baked apple.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: hamburger on a bun, lettuce, tomato and onion, tater tots, blushing pears.
Tuesday: smothered steak, boiled potatoes, carrots, bread, cherry dump cake.
Wednesday: roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, hot roll, fresh fruit.
Thursday: baked fish, parslied potatoes, corn, bread, sherbet.
Friday: ham with pineapple, baked potato, peas, hot rolls, angel food cake with strawberries.
