For all those people who actually work in downtown Emporia, the parking lot given to the Farmer's Market is where the employees park. It's a total pain in the neck to have to park 3 blocks away to get to work on Wed. & Sat, Don't get me wrong - I love the Farmer's Market & the concept, but the location stinks. Heaven forbid you, wanting to pick up your Rx, mouthwash & AA batteries, wanted to go to the Post Office, Graves', or Dollar General on either day. Why not move the Farmer's Market to the empty spot where Bruff's used to be, or the parking lot across from the Gazette, or the one behind Town Crier/Cable One? Their lovely shade/umbrella/kiosk could be easily moved.

But if you moved to the market to the lot across from The Gazette, where would I park on those days? (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
