Potato bar repeat
If you purchased tickets for Saturday’s American Legion Potato Bar, don’t throw them away.
The American Legion Post 5 11th Annual Potato Bar will be repeated from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Post 5, 2921W. 12th Ave. The event was planned for Saturday, and folks did turn out to eat. But organizers decided to offer a second event this weekend. Pre-sold tickets for last Saturday will be honored and additional tickets will be available.
Toppings include bacon bits, shredded and melted cheese, sour cream, onions, green peppers and chili. Adult advance tickets are $5 and $6 at the door. Children under six are free of charge. Carry-outs are available. Proceeds will be used for the American Legion Baseball Program.
