TO ALL OUR FRIENDS in the Emporia area and surrounding communities, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. Your response exceeded our expectations and we are grateful for your support that allows us to continue to help the children of our area.
All the funds raised through our Pancake Day are used in our service account, which we invest 100 percent back into the youth and youth organizations of our community and area. A thank you is also in order to PrairieLand Partners, Sutherland’s, St. Mark’s Quilters and Judy Turner of Farm and Home Real Estate, who donated prizes for the fundraising drawing for Boy Scout Troop 165 and their camp scholarship fund.
And a special thanks to David Evans of Evco Foods for going above and beyond as we experienced a near-shortage of supplies because of the great turnout that we experienced.
To all our friends who helped in whatever way to make our Pancake Day a success — thank you.
