“The Boy, The Loaves and Fishes,” a storytelling presentation, will be offered during the 8:15 and 10:35 a.m. services at the First United Methodist Church, 823 Merchant St. with Nick And Lucy Della Valle of the Breath of Christ Ministries. The 5th Sunday Potluck will be served after the late service. Bring a dish to share and individual table service. The Della Valle’s will talk about their “3,300 mile trod for God” walk across America in May.
Emporia State University’s Harmonious Voices of Praise will present a concert of gospel music from 5 to 8 p.m. April 4 at Grace United Methodist Church, 2 Neosho St. A special guest will be the Rev. W. Kirkwood, soloist, along with Carlos Pringle and Todd Cannon.
