Emporia High had three boys basketball players earn All-Centennial League honors, led by senior Taylor Euler’s appearance on the all-league second team.
Euler, the senior point guard and Emporia State signee, averaged 19.5 points per game for the Spartans, along with 3.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Center Greg Canales earned selection to the All-Centennial third team after a junior season in which he averaged 11.4 points and 5.4 rebounds and shot 55 percent from the floor.
Euler’s senior backcourt mate, Jacob Torres, earned an honorable mention selection. Torres finished with 11.6 points, 2.0 assists and 4.1 rebounds and hit 33 percent of his 3-point attempts.
