Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: sausage biscuit with jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: hot ham and cheese sandwich on a bun, tater tots, broccoli, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Wednesday: country steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, dinner roll, pear half.
Thursday: chicken parmesan, tri-taters, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles.
Friday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, tossed salad, tropical fruit, cake.
Juice and milk are served with breakfast, milk is served with lunch.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, Scandanavian vegetables, wheat roll, apricots.
Tuesday: pork patty, seasoned potatoes, carrot-raisin salad, wheat bread, peach cup.
Wednesday: beef stroganoff, winter-blend vegetables, roll, apple-cranberry crisp.
Thursday: beef stew, cottage cheese, crackers, fruit cup.
Friday: Mr. Rib or fish, potato salad, baked beans, bun, scalloped apples.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: barbecue meat balls, potato wedges, corn, bread, cottage cheese and peaches.
Tuesday: roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, hot roll, easy fruit dessert.
Wednesday: scalloped potatoes with ham, spinach, fresh grapes, bread pudding.
Thursday: chicken and rice casserole, mixed vegetables, bread, fresh apples.
Friday: roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, hot roll, pears.
