WHEN HE WAS finishing High School in Great Bend, he was his older sister’s indentured servant and care taker of her two young children. He allowed as how he did not think he would have any kids. He joined the Marine Corps right after High School.
Fast forward, he is now father of three, he has spent 16 years in the Marine Corps, eleven as an enlisted man reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant and 4 and a half years as an Officer. This Febuary, on his birthday, which he marked in Northern Iraq, the Marine Corps presented him with his promotion to Captain. (Picture is of Captain Post being congratulated by an Iraq Officer) Well done, Son. By the way “Super Grand Kids.” Happy Birthday and take care.
Beverly and I could not be prouder of him.

Birthdays while deployed are bitter sweet. Your buddies all want you to have a good time and you get your fair share of ribbing, but the day is also filled with thoughts of family and loved ones.
Mr. Post, it sounds like you have a lot to be proud of in your son.
