An undefeated regular season made Olpe the most honored boys team in All-Lyon County League balloting this season, with two first-teamers, a second-team selection and an honorable mention for the Eagles.
Senior forward Cole Krueger and junior guard Bradley Argabright were selected to the first team for Olpe, which reached the Class 2A State tournament with a 22-0 record before losing to Pittsburg-Colgan in the first round. Senior forward Josh Klumpe was selected to the second team, and junior guard Matt Redeker earned an honorable mention.
Joining Krueger and Argabright on the first team were five other selections, including Lebo senior forward Adam Laflin and Madison senior forward Michael Luthi. Rounding out the first team were Brandon Litch of Marais des Cygnes Valley, Justin Meyer of Southern Coffey County and Josh Teal of Waverly.
Along with Luthi, Madison had two selections to the second team in senior shooting guard Caleb Hamilton and junior point guard Henry Ott. Laflin’s selection also came with another nod for Lebo in senior center Dylan Smith, who was picked as an honorable mention. Hartford placed two players on the second team: junior point guard Adam Ewy and senior forward Craig Woods.
