Good sense needed

FIFTY YEARS AGO, tobacco moguls were spiking cigarettes to make them more addictive while telling the public that smoking was good for their health despite 50,000 research studies world wide showing just the opposite.
Today, the Marlboro man, enfeebled in his sexuality, rues the day he ever laid eyes on the cigarettes he promoted. Tobacco contributes to 800,000 heart deaths yearly plus pulmonary, lung and cancer related deaths. Smokers surrender 15 years of their life to their smoking habit while the money to pay for their medical care comes out of your pocket, the person who doesn’t smoke and who finds it offensive to your health and enjoyment of your surroundings. Furthermore, smoking in the presence of others is rude and inconsiderate. Enough said. Let the good sense of our community prevail in April.

Julius...Julius...Julius...get with the program! This is supposed to be about the health effects of 2nd hand smoke, not smoking! There is a difference, you know.
Crackinsack followed up with, "A simple concept that many smokers fail to grasp."
Smoking permitted = do not go in.
No smoking allowed = "safe"
A simple concept that many ban supporters fail to grasp.
If 2nd hand smoke kills, where are all of the bodies?
Stop the lies, Vote NO!

But trbluma, you forget that all the things you mentioned are placed in a " NECESSARY " catagory by the smoking ban nannys ! If they deem it a necessary evil it will not even be considered for a ban, because it is something they do themselves, hell, the head of the CAE makes her money from all the burgers and fries sold at the business she owns. You really don't expect her to ban her livelyhood do you ? However putting a ban on someone elses possible livelyhood doesn't bother her at all, now does it !
VOTE NO !

trbluma;
Not only did the head of the CAE get elected County Commissioner, but the CAE also had a hand in getting the State Wide Smoking Ban Bill introduced into the State Legislature to try and be passed !
