Many a baseball manager will say pitching and defense is the most efficient way to win games; Emporia State coach Bob Fornelli is no different.
“Any time we can pitch a little bit and play defense,” Fornelli said. “I think our hitting is eventually going to come around to where we can feel confident about it every day. One error in four games, that’s going to win a lot of baseball games.”
