65 years together

EULOGIES are nice, however, the person never knows what is said. I would like to honor the man I have spent 65 years of my life with.
We were 17 and 18 when we married. That is no feat for a female because in those years girl were born domestically inclined. For a male to go from boy to man is another matter.
Paul spent his 19th birthday overseas with the Air Corps. He is the reason our sons have great respect for their mother and all females. He was never without a job and was our problem solver. He would say, “Give me a little time and I will figure it out” and he did.
He also instilled community service in the children by being active in the Jaycees, American Legion, Sertoma VFW, etc.
He cannot do all the things now he would like to, but, his mind goes 90 miles a minute.
If you wonder how we lasted so long, just think that when I see him across the room it gives me such a feeling of love and safety. We both have a sense of humor which our seven kids have picked up. We thank God for so much time together.
