Lyon County Commission
The Lyon County Commission will meet for a study session at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the county commission chambers of the Lyon County Courthouse, 430 Commercial St. Items on the agenda include:
• A software presentation from Sonny Sager of Manatron.
• Mark McKenna and Chris Wilkinson, of facilities management, will discuss a proposal for the roof leak on the Lyon County Courthouse.
• Chip Woods, Lyon County engineer, will discuss economic stimulus projects and directions; discuss commissioner’s attendance at the Northeast Highway Officials meeting in Seneca; discuss the low bid of J & A Traffic Products of Blue Springs, Mo., for UNISTRUT Intersection Signs Materials for $3,124; discuss low bid of J & A Traffic Products for steel sign posts for $4,138; discuss low bid that meets the specifications for complete signs and sign faces from National Sign Co. Inc., for $14,129.75; discuss drainage study between Road M4 and N and South Avenue and Logan Avenue; and discuss road supervisor and sign supervisor’s weekly reports.
• Robert Sullivan, Community Corrections director, will discuss approval of the JJA Block Grant.
• Bob Driewer, CEO of Newman Regional Health, will discuss the Public Building Commission.
• Lougene Marsh, executive director of Flint Hills Community Health Center/Lyon County Health Department, will discuss the Public Building Commission.
At noon, commissioners will tour the dispatch centers and then hold a joint city-county meeting in the Little Theater at the Civic Auditorium.
