EHS boys lose in substate

The Emporia High boys lost in their substate final to Hutchinson 45-42 on Saturday night at Salina Central, ending the Spartans' season with a 12-10 record.

Taylor Euler had 24 of the Spartans' 42 points in his last high school game. Hutchinson advanced to next week's Class 5A State tournament in Topeka.
