Final
Emporia State moved onto the second round of the MIAA tournament with a 81-65 win over Southwest Baptist on Friday.
Ida Edwards led the Lady Hornets with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Cassondra Boston scored 13 points, had four assists and four steals.

Half
The Emporia State women lead Southwest Baptist 36-23 at half in the first round of the MIAA tournament.
Ida Edwards has 10 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Brittney Miller is 2-for-2 and has six points.
Southwest Baptist is shooting 27 percent and has made only 3-of-14 3-pointers. The Lady Hornets are shooting 48.4 percent, but they made only 1-of-7 3-pointers.
