• Irish ballads and anecdotes about Irish in Kansas will be part of an early St. Patrick’s concert by soprano Regina Murphy and pianist Sue Seeman, free of charge, 2 p.m., Lyon County Historical Museum, 118 E. Sixth Ave.

• Learn about Chase County’s rodeo cowgirl and trick rider, Marge Roberts, in a first-person debut performance by Minta VanNortwick of Cottonwood Falls. Roberts started performing in the Clyde Miller Wild West Show at the age of 13 and won the 1940 national women’s bronc riding championship. The free program is from 2 to 4 p.m. at Pioneer Bluffs Historic Ranch, one mile north of Matfield Green on Highway 177.
