Moran accepting internship applications

Congressman Jerry Moran announced in a news release that he is accepting applications for congressional internships in his Washington, D.C., Hays, Hutchinson and Salina offices for the fall 2009 term. Applications are due by July 10.
Fall internships generally coincide with the student’s college semester schedule, stated the news release.
To apply, students should submit a completed application form, cover letter, resume, college transcript and three letters of reference. The cover letter should explain the student’s interest in public service and the goals he or she hopes to achieve by participating.
Forms are available in the Services section at www.jerrymoran.house.gov/. To ensure timely receipt, students are encouraged to fax their application to (202) 225-5124. They also can mail applications to Attn: Intern Coordinator, P.O. Box 1128, Hutchinson, KS 67504. For more information, call the above number.

Moran voted for SCHIP. So he lost my vote. I'll not vote for ANY form of Socialism!

SCHIP provides health insurance to children who otherwise wouldn't have any. How is that a bad thing?
