Firearms, electronic equipment, jewelry and miscellaneous items were taken late Friday in a burglary of a home in north Lyon County.
According to information from Lyon County Sheriff’s Deputy Garland Hendrickson, the burglary was in progress when the residents interrupted the theft by returning home.
The total loss is unknown, Hendrickson said.
The robbery is under investigation by the sheriff’s department.
