Lyon County commissioners had a light agenda during their Wednesday study session.
First on the agenda was a discussion with Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods, who discussed the bank stabilization project on Road 145 west of Neosho Rapids. Woods said documents need to be back to the Kansas Department of Transportation for a July 15 bid-letting and 30 working days was put down for the length of time for the project.
In other matters:
• Commissioners considered using $4,000 to buy tactical armor for hostage negotiators.
• Commissioners considered the purchase of two burnishers with a trade-in of two burnishers.
