Worm races

The Emporia Public Library will have its annual Worm Races at 10 a.m. June 26. Take a worm to the library courtyard, 110 E. Sixth Ave., and see who has the fastest worm in Emporia. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers.

Participants must register their worms by June 25 in the Children’s Services section of the library.

There will also be some “worm art” activities for children.
