Hours extended
The Lunch Box, which opened recently in the Flinthills Mall, is adding menu items and extending its hours.
The restaurant, which also serves daily specials, is now open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Ribbon reminders
The Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau is set to cut ribbons at two Emporia businesses.
Tuesday’s ceremony, at 11:30 a.m., will celebrate Sherry Davidson and Darrell Schneider’s new ownership of Curves for Women in the Flinthills Mall, who purchased the business in May.
At 11:30 a.m. Thursday, chamber members plan a ribbon cutting to celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters’ new office, 702 Commercial St., B-2.
