Bake sale for Serrano

The Emporia Police Department communications department and the EPD wives will have a bake sale to raise money for the medical treatment of Mariah Serrano, who was severely injured in a traffic accident.

The sale will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Walmart and continue until the baked goods are sold out.

Way to go EPD & LYSO the community should be very proud of these officers & their family members....the fraternity of being LEO is special & when tragedy strikes close to home it's like one big family working together!! Not only do they protect & serve they are willing to go above & beyond for their fellow officers this type of caring easily spreads to thier family members which are ready to help in anyway! I salute you all!!!!
