A rainy forecast and need for more room will move today's Brown Bag Concert to the Little Theatre in the civic building.
Usually, concerts are moved from the courtyard into the Emporia Public Library, but officials don't believe there will be enough room, given that last week's kickoff concert drew more than 700 people.
Today's concert features Richard Renner, the Vodvill Klown, who will present his Slapstick Circus, which consists of comedy, stiltwalking, juggling, pantomime, unicycling, ropewalking, acrobatics and audience participation.
Wheat State Pizza will have pizza slices for sale at $2 each, and drinks at $1 each. The Artmobile will not offer art projects at 11:00 a.m. as at other Brown Bag concerts.
Concerts are sponsored by the Library and Friends of the Library, Emporia Main Street, Emporia Arts Council and the Lyon County Historical Museum.
