The Lyon County Commission will meet for a study session beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Lyon County Courthouse, 430 Commercial St. Items on the agenda include:
• Merlin G. Wheeler and Ruth Wheeler will discuss the loss of temporary hour allocation.
• Road and Bridge update.
• Ken Barrows, L-Cat Manager, will discuss appointment recommendation for Lyon County representative to the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging Board of Directors and will discuss the purchase of a TV/DVD/VCR player and mobile stand for the department training and annex meeting room public meetings.
• Sue Blechl, of the public library, will give a budget presentation.
• Robert Sullivan, Community Corrections director, will discuss the use of justic assistance grants for reduction in the FY10 adult funding and to offset the cost of adult substance abuse treatment.
• Brian Creager, Lyon County Extension Council, will discuss the proposed budget for 2010.
• Mark McKenna, facilities, will discuss a gas quote.
