17 teams compete at Catbacker’s tournament

Julie Hower, John Hower, Steve Kepler and Don Alderman teamed to win the first flight of the Flint Hills Catbacker’s scramble on Saturday at the Emporia Municipal golf course. The foursome shot 16-under par to win the four-person scramble.

Jerry Olmsted, Lu Olmsted, Greg Schwein and John Korsak shot a 9-under to win the second flight. Jim Looper, John McCrae, Ken McGuffin and Joe Haynes shot a 4-under to win the third flight.
