Pony rides and a cowboy poetry reading will be featured at Winding Road Equine Rescue and Retirement’s Winding Road Roundup on Saturday at the Flinthills Mall, 1632 Industrial Road.
Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers will have hamburgers and hot dogs for sale, and face-painting and balloons that can be had for a donation to the horse rescue operation. A silent auction is planned, and crafts will be sold at several booths.
Volunteers are needed to help with the pony rides, face painting, balloons and the booths, according to a press release from the organization. Items also are needed for the silent auction, and additional booth spaces may be rented for a small fee.
