Emporia High School got busy with the start of school quickly approaching. Jenna Stanbrough and Cindy Meinholdt catch up while standing in line for lockers.

Classes begin in Emporia schools on Aug. 13. This week, teachers and students have been busy preparing for the new year.

Students kindergarten through grade eight enrolled at Emporia High School on Friday. The process will continue on Monday.
