This is National Zoo Keeper Week and the David Traylor Zoo is asking zoo visitors to thank its zoo keepers for all their efforts. Keepers are responsible for the overall health and well-being of every animal in the zoo. They also educate the public on the need to preserve habitats and the animals which inhabit them. Keepers for the David Traylor Zoo are Keith Jackson, Kate Weaver, Ian Nall, Katrina Frost, Mixie Schafer and Chelsey Schlessener.
