The Community Arts Council of Council Grove will be host for the “Kansas Landscape as Design” workshop at 9 a.m. July 25 at the Rendezvous in Council Grove taught by fiber artist Bryan Grove. This workshop will offer artists and quilters the opportunity to learn a simple design process focused on the visual elements of the Kansas landscape, stated the news release. During this workshop a variety of fiber collage and quilting techniques will be demonstrated and used to create wall hangings that celebrate the beauty of Kansas nature. Each participant will design and create a 12-inch by 16-inch wall hanging.
