Resurfacing K-130
Saturday, July 11, 2009
Weather permitting, a resurfacing project will begin Tuesday on K-130 from the north city limits of Hartford to the north edge of the K-130 and I-35 interchange in Lyon County. Resurfacing work will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with some occasional Saturday work.
Flaggers will coordinate with pilot cars to guide traffic through the project. Drivers should expect some minor delays of up to 15 minutes, including possible start and stop traffic and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible, stated the news release. When drivers enter the project work zone on K-130 from adjacent roadways, they must not enter onto K-130 until they are able to follow in behind the pilot car. There will be an 11-foot lane width restriction on K-130 through the project work zone.
The scheduled completion date for the resurfacing project is late July 2009, weather permitting.
