(Sigh) Again the on-line/free Gazette has little to offer those of us who are forced to rely on the on-line edition. Worse still is the lack of information, (respect?) in an obituary ; "John Smith died Thursday. Services at ABC123 Funeral Home". Ever look at other newspapers' on -line services? Copy & paste http://cjonline.com/ or http://www.stjoenews.net/ Come on Gazette, surely you can do as well.

Spectator, I couldn't agree more. The local rag has the worst on line setup I've ever seen. It's as if they are soooo afraid somebody will get something for nothing. Guess they can't sell enough advertising to make it work. What a poor excuse for a newspaper. Fortunately we have KVOE or we'd have no news in Emporia. Too bad the Gazette doesn't have some competition. They'd die on the vine.
