Road crews begin a resurfacing project today on Kansas Highway 170 from its junction with Kansas Highway 99 to the Lyon-Osage county line.
Flaggers and pilot cars will guide motorists through the construction zone. Drivers are told to expect delays of up to 15 minutes on the road during the project.
The project will include milling off the top two inches of asphalt and laying two inches of new asphalt, with a layer of asphalt and rock chips to finish. The primary contractor is Dustrol.
The resurfacing is expected to be complete by the end of the month.
