The Law Enforcement Consolidation Task Force will have its final formal meeting Thursday to review a statement and recommendations from a study by Springstead, the company that examined the potential for consolidating city and county law enforcement. The company presented its final report in December.
Marshall Miller, task force member, said Thursday’s meeting will focus on a statement and report to the governing bodies.
“We will critique that and fine-tune that and give it to the governing bodies,” Miller said.
The meeting will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Jury Assembly Room on the second floor of the Lyon County Courthouse, 430 Commercial St.
