A would-be thief found himself in a headlock early Sunday morning after he allegedly tried to steal the money from the bartender’s tip jar.
“The bartender caught him doing it, and put him in a headlock,” said Stephen Cole, owner of Cole’s in downtown Emporia where the incident took place.
The man ran from the building, and police were called. They spent part of the morning trying to find the suspect, whose name is known, he said.
Did the man get away with the cash?
“Nope,” Cole said. “The bartender made him give it back.”

Good job bartender ? ABSOLUTELY ! The police cannot be everywhere all the time and we have to look out for ourselves and stop being victimized by the predators. Hurrah for the good guys for a change. I hope this crook is caught, charged and gets more than a slap on the wrist. I hope his neck hurts too.

There is more to the story, the bartender was a 5 ft female, chased him down 3 flights of stairs, ripped his shirt up then put him in a head lock, before he got away. Good Going! We need people like you to help protect the community.

Imagine what a figure 4 leg lock would have done. That would have been awesome.
