Final

Sophia Lenard led seven Lady Hornets in double figures with 19 points and Emporia State won at Northwest Missouri 104-86 on Saturday afternoon.

Emporia State used a 17-4 run to open the second half to pull away from the Bearcats. Emporia State led by 36 at one point in the second half, cruising to its second straight blowout win on the road.

Lenard made 13-of-14 free throws and had a game-high seven assists and three steals. Jamie Augustyn made a career-high five 3-pointers and scored 15 points; Cassondra Boston scored 13; Ida Edwards, Andrea Leiker and Alli Volkens all scored 11 and Allie Renberg added 10.

Cassondra Boston has 11 points Emporia State leads Northwest Missouri 49-44 at half.

The two teams have combined for 28 fouls and Emporia State has made 16-of-21 free throws, while the Bearcats have made 9-of-14.

Alli Volkens scored seven points in the first half, and Ida Edwards and Allie Renberg both added six.
