Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: No school today.
Tuesday: sausage biscuit and jelly or cereal and graham cookie.
Wednesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookie.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: No school today.
Tuesday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, tossed salad, tropical fruit, cookie.
Wednesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: country steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner roll, corn, pear half.
Friday: chicken parmesan, tri-taters, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Closed for Martin Luther King Day.
Tuesday: pasta bake, peas, pickled beets, Texas toast, gelatin with fruit.
Wednesday: chicken-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, wheat roll, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: goulash, California-blend vegetables, bread, peaches.
Friday: polish sausage on a bun, cabbage, three-bean salad, pears.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.

Tuesday: beef tips in gravy, baked potato, beets, wheat bread, banana.
Wednesday: chicken-fried steak, potato salad, pea and cheese salad, bread, fruit.
Thursday: roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, peach shortcake.
Friday: creamed turkey with vegetables, biscuits, creamy orange salad, brownie.
F Menus are provided by the senior meal programs and the Emporia school district.
