A card shower has been requested for Carl and Carlene Bedner, who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday (Jan. 24). Cards may be sent to 2320 DeLane Drive, Emporia, KS 66801.
Camp raises rates
The rates for the Camp Alexander Summer Camp will change for this summer because of economic conditions and increased demand and staff costs. The new rate for this summer will be $125 per week.
Meeting rescheduled
The Reading City Council meeting has been rescheduled to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
City of Hartford meeting
The City of Hartford meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the City Hall.
